“I came in thinking I needed a strategy overhaul. Within three sessions I realised the bottleneck was my own decision-making pattern. That shift alone saved my board from a costly acquisition mistake.”

— Managing Director, FTSE 250 industrial group, after six months of coaching

“No frameworks for the sake of frameworks. Just relentlessly honest dialogue that forced me to confront the gaps between what I said I valued and what my calendar actually showed.”

— Chief Operating Officer, Edinburgh-based fintech

Executive Coaching that prices honestly and delivers measurably

Most coaching firms wrap their fees inside opaque "packages" designed to obscure what you actually pay per hour of genuine advisory work. We take the opposite approach. Below you will find our rates, what each format includes, and how the total investment scales with your goals. No discovery calls needed just to learn the cost.

Our work is grounded in a simple conviction: senior leaders already possess the raw capability they need. What they lack is a disciplined mirror — someone outside the organisational gravity field who can surface blind spots, challenge comfortable narratives, and hold them accountable to the standards they set for everyone else.

How pricing works — without packages

We do not sell bronze, silver, or platinum tiers. Instead, we charge per engagement format. You choose the format that matches your situation, and we agree on a duration together. If your needs change mid-engagement, the format adjusts — not the hourly economics.

Engagement formatRateWhat is included
Single deep-dive session (90 min)£475Pre-session brief review, live coaching, written reflection note within 48 hours
Ongoing advisory — fortnightly rhythm£1,650 / monthTwo 75-minute sessions, asynchronous voice-note access between sessions, quarterly progress audit
Intensive sprint — 8 weeks£5,200 flatWeekly 90-minute sessions, 360-degree stakeholder interviews (up to 6), mid-sprint recalibration, final leadership brief
Board-level observation day£2,400 / dayFull-day attendance at board or leadership-team meeting, confidential debrief with the sponsor, written diagnostic memo
Transition coaching (new-role first 100 days)£7,800 flatTwelve sessions across 14 weeks, stakeholder mapping workshop, fortnightly email summaries to sponsor (with your consent)

All prices exclude VAT. Travel expenses outside central Scotland billed at cost. No long-term contracts — either party can pause or end with 14 days' written notice.

Why publish rates openly? Because price ambiguity wastes your time and ours. If the numbers above feel right for the value you need, the next step is a brief conversation to confirm fit — not a sales pitch.

What the engagement actually looks like

Alignment conversation

A 30-minute call — free, unrecorded — where we explore whether your challenge matches our expertise. We will tell you honestly if someone else would serve you better.

Contracting and context

We agree on format, rhythm, and confidentiality boundaries. If a sponsor (such as your HR director or chair) is involved, we define the reporting line together.

Working sessions

Each session is structured around a live challenge you bring. We do not follow a curriculum; we follow your reality. Expect direct questions, reframing, and occasionally uncomfortable silence.

Between-session accountability

Short voice notes or email check-ins keep momentum alive. You commit to one observable action per fortnight; we follow up on it without exception.

Progress audit

Every quarter (or at the sprint midpoint) we pause to assess what has shifted — in your behaviour, your team's response, and the business outcomes you defined at the start.

Clean close

Engagements end with a final reflection session and a one-page leadership brief you can keep. We do not manufacture dependency.

Is this the right fit?

Good fit: You lead a team of 20 or more and the decisions you make ripple across the organisation. You want someone who will challenge you, not reassure you.
Good fit: You are stepping into a new C-suite or board role within the next six months and want to land well rather than learn by costly trial and error.
Not ideal: You are looking for career coaching, CV advice, or interview preparation. We focus exclusively on in-role leadership effectiveness.
Not ideal: You want a coach who will give you a personality profile and a binder of models. Our work is conversational, situational, and deliberately light on frameworks.
Good fit: Your organisation is navigating a merger, restructure, or succession event and you need a confidential thinking partner outside the politics.
Not ideal: You need team facilitation or group workshops. We work one-to-one. For team interventions we can refer you to trusted colleagues.

Leadership is lonely by design

The higher you climb, the fewer people will tell you the truth. Our role is not to be your friend or your therapist. It is to be the one conversation in your week where nothing is off limits and everything is accountable.

Working principles

Confidentiality is non-negotiable

Nothing you say in a session is shared with your sponsor, your board, or anyone else unless you explicitly ask us to share it. When sponsors request updates, we provide behavioural observations only — never content from our conversations. This boundary is what makes the space safe enough for real honesty.

We follow your agenda, not a syllabus

Every session starts with the question: "What is the most important thing you need to think through today?" If you arrive with a board paper crisis, we work on that. If you arrive unsure what is wrong, we work on that too. Pre-set coaching programmes often solve yesterday's problem; we solve today's.

Measurement matters, but not everything is measurable

We track observable shifts: how your direct reports describe your communication, how quickly you make and communicate difficult decisions, whether your stated priorities match your actual time allocation. Some of the deepest changes — greater self-awareness, reduced anxiety before high-stakes moments — are harder to quantify but no less real.

What clients say when they think we are not listening

“The 100-day transition coaching was worth every penny. I avoided at least two political landmines that would have cost me credibility in my first quarter.”

— Incoming CEO, healthcare services group

“I have worked with three executive coaches over fifteen years. This is the first one who made me genuinely uncomfortable — and the first one who made a lasting difference.”

— Group CFO, listed engineering firm

“The board observation day produced a diagnostic memo that was more useful than the last two governance reviews combined. Brutal, but fair.”

— Non-executive chair, mutual insurer
